After we returned from Miami we took some time to spend with family. It's so easy to get caught up in work and their needs get put off to the side. Knowing that we had a busy remainder part of the Summer submitting to film festivals, assisting with King Films Safe House, pre-production for our next short, The Resolution Pact, and the last month of our respective MBA curriculum, we needed the break. It was great reminiscing about the good ole days and seeing our family's smiling faces. I read that Sherwood Pictures tend to take one week off for every two weeks filming just so that the crew can spend time with family and take care of other personal needs. We Connected Productions also see the need, and will incorporate a similar philosophy in our lives as we pursue this film/TV production industry. So if you don't see the blog updated over a 5-7 day period of time, know that we're not slacking off or production is slow, we're just rejuvenating with our family commitments and basking in their love.
