Day 2 at ABFF

A young lady we met yesterday decided not to go to the Screenwriting Master Class by Steve Duncan and gave the ticket to Sharee. While she went to the Masterclass, I went to support my Aiken High School classmate John Ewing, who executive produced the movie full feature film, Consinsual. His company VendettaFilmworks is the distributor. I will not give the movie away, but there is a twist at the end.

Sharee and I continued to give out our EPK packets for our short films Angel of Mine and From The Shallow To The Deep. Sheri Brooks from Detroit informed us she enjoyed From The Shallow To The Deep and will enter it into her 1st Annual Detroit Christian Film Festival the 3rd week of May 2011. Angel of Mine looks to be in the festival as well. More details in the coming weeks.

We went to the MTVN Digital Book Camp and the symposium: Making Movies that Make Money with Rainforest Rob Hardy and other special guests. We left early to attend Boris Kodjo The Confidant. Actress Kenya Moore, who also produced the movie, and Rapper David Banner were superb in the movie.

David Banner also appeared in the movie Stomp The Yard: Homecoming produced by Rainforest Will Packer and directed by Rob Hardy. Actor Pooch Hall from BET's The Game and the lead actors were in attendance as well. There were so many people in attendance they decided to do a second showing of the film immediately afterward to get everyone who paid for an All Access pass or individual ticket to watch the movie. I enjoyed the storyline and the stepping was great. It reminded me, although I didn't pledge, of going to the step shows at Clemson University. CU!! CU!!!
