That's Bull Shoots This Wknd in Charleston, SC

That's Bull is a 10 minute short film written by Sharee Washington that will be shot this weekend on the campus of Charleston Southern University.  The film tells a modern story of Wall Street versus Main Street behind the backdrop of the Biblical scripture: 1 Kings Chapter 18: 16-42.  The antagonist, BAAL, and the protagonist, ELIJAH, go head to head to answer the question: What is the purpose of business- to profit or to serve others? The Charleston Southern University Business and Theatre Departments collaborated with WCP, LLC on the film project.  Dr. William Bowers and Professor Thomas Keating serve as Executive Producers. Rhonda Washington is a Producer and Sharee Washington is the Director. The Charleston Southern University Theater Department have been cast as talent in the film.  Brandon McCoy is BAAL, Leo Anderson is ELIJAH, and Vinnie Mercer is BLOOMBERG. A dozen more students will have speaking roles, serve as background extras, and assist with crew. Cinematographer Matthew Mercier with Magic Studios, who we've collaborated with in From the Shallow to the Deep, has also come on board, and we are excited to be partnering with him once again. Filmmakers Ed and Paul Cannon with Moving Forward Pictures will be assisting Matthew with production design and grip.  This film project is 8 months in the making and we are happy that the time has come to make it happen!
